Its been a long time since I have blogged anything, so I am just going to take a few minutes and update my life!

Right now, Jake is work during the day, once he steps through the door I am on my way to work. We dont see much of each other. He just got out of school but will be starting summer school here in a few days. I can't wait until the day comes that we both dont have to work and he can just focus on Medical School. Not too much longer though. I wish he could just put all is time towards school...we would have been done a long time ago.

Daxton- He is such a Momma's boy. I didn't know something could love and want me so much! I'm not used to it because Kaylor was a complete Daddy's girl. Now I got my turn :) He's so precious and sweet. Such a little cuddle bug. He loves his blankets and his two fingers!
Kaylor- Hmmmmm where the heavens do I start? She's a freaking HAND FULL! I don't know where she gets her energy. She is constantly going going going. She is NEVER not doing anything or desroying something. She wears me out. She's so sweet though, a little cuddle bug as well. She loves her Grandma Mimi and Grandpa Lane. Half the time she prefers them over me.
Jake and I have gone mountain biking a couple times. It kicks my butt, but it is pretty fun. We're trying to get into a sport that we can do together. Jake is training for the Triantholon next summer. I don't know exactly what all it is...but its one of those marathons where you swim, run, bike and everything. It takes all day. He's CRAZY!

As you can see, we went and had our pictures taken. We did them ourselfs. We set up the tri-pod and snapped away!

All in all, I am completely happy and couldn't be happier. I have two healthy kids. An amazing man for a husband and I'm still young!!!!!

Every monday when I think "awww man its monday again. This sucks...work...work...work" I just have to remind myself that it's another Monday that I am living with my kids and family. Another monday that I am here with my kids to enjoy. You never know what could happen. You could lose someone you love in a second so I try to enjoy every day life brings to me.

I guess that's about it! All in all I have an amazing family. A husband who works his cute butt off to keep us all going and two beautiful healthy kids!

Can I just tell you how hard it is to take pictures with a little devil child and a 6 week old baby??? Kaylor makes it impossible for us to take pictures every time we try...I swear just when I thought she couldn't get any worse....she does! She will kick, scream, and throw such a tantrum for no reason, just becasuse we sit her down on our lap...as soon as we let her go she's just fine, heaven forbid don't touch her or she'll throw the biggest fit! She can make a crazy person go crazy. I seriously can not keep up with her. As soon as I clean up a mess she makes, she's got a whole nother mess made. I think she is going through a terrible stage right now...(at least I hope its just a stage) Some how at the end of the day she's worth every minute of it. Dax....Oh my heavens, what can I say? He is my little teddy bear. I didn't know having a baby could be so enjoyable. He is so sweet, I honestly dont think they come any sweeter than him. He NEVER fusses. Only when he is hungry. I can sit him anywhere for how ever long and he's totally happy. He's a little chill bug. Now if only Kaylor was like him...I think I could have ten more kids. Jake...what would I do without him? He truley is my soulmate. I love him with all my heart and there isn't a day that goes by I don't think about how lucky I am. I really don't know what I did in life to marry such an amazing person. He works soooo hard and always has such a good attitude about everything. He would do anything for anyone. He's such an amazing person. He wakes up at 5 in the morning to work out and study, leaves for work at 8, goes to school, back to work, gets off at 6 and is litterally studying the rest of the night until 12 or sometimes evern 1 or 2. and some how he still finds time to play with kaylor, do something to make me happy and occasionally make the family dinner. How he does it? I don't know. Kaylor and Dax are very lucky to have him for a Dad.

Motherhood

Being a Mom is crazy! It's the hardest job I've ever had to do, and at the same time it's the funnest job. It makes me crazy some days. I try to remember that they're just kids/babies...and to chill out and calm down. It seems like my hands are ALWAYS full.. if it's not kaylor screaming her head off, its Dax. (seriously Mom...how did you do TEN kids) thats all I ever think about every time they are both crying.

I always feel guilty when I look at Kaylor sleeping so pretty and peacefully after a day of frustration. They are so innocent and happy and have no idea what kind of crazy world they are coming into. I just hope and pray that they endure to the end and make wise choices throughout their life.

I can't even say it enough how thankful I am for my kids and the ability to even have children (healthy ones at that). I love them so much.

It breaks my heart hearing about the earth quake in Haitie. Seeing those little kids hurt. I would die if I had to see one of my kids go through pain like that. It makes me sick. Just when Kaylor is sick it makes me so sad. Which brings me to think about Haley and Travis and Ron and Vicki. I don't know how they do it. I hope and pray that I never have to see my kids in pain or go through those kinds of trials. I'm afraid I'm not strong enough.

We are going to have Dax's baby blessing the sunday after Christmas. January 3rd. It will be in Mt. pleasant. Since all the family will be there for Christmas we decided to do it then. Hope to see everyone there!!! :) I'm not exactly sure on the time. I will have to find out but I think it will be 9:00 I'll let everyone know when I find out for sure.

Dax has been so much fun. I forgot how fun it is to just hold a newborn all day long. He's so stinkin cute and tiny. I thought I wanted another girl..until he was actually here. Now I am glad its a boy. He's' so sweet and I am so thankful to be a Mom. Kaylor is really good with him. She always trys to give him his bottles and binki's. Every once in a while she'll steal his binki from him and put it in her mouth....she's never taken a binki but now that she see's him sucking one she wants to as well.

My 38 week picture

I'm schedueled to be induced this Monday! I'm so excited and definately ready to be done being pregnant for a LONG time. I'm so sad to have to leave Kaylor for two days straight. I never thought about that. I've never spent one single day without her since she has been born. I hope she does ok. No kids under the age of 13 are allowed in the hospital beacause of H1N1.

We still don't have a name yet. Haha. Wish us luck!

So I thought I would post a little about my kaybug since she just turned one yesterday.

First of all, she is my world! She makes me so happy. I never realized how much you could love something. I honestly don't know what I would do without her. The I think and do things with my life has changed COMPLETELY!

Kaylors favorites:

Food: Hmmmm does candy count as a food? jk no but really. Aside from candy her favorite thing to eat is probably toast with jam, or Jakes rice soup. Those two things she will eat and eat and eat.

Favorite toy: hmmm well anything she can get her hands on. Anything that I am using at the moment she likes to steel from me and play with it. Until she sees that I have something else in my hand. She LOVES to climb on things. ANYTHING she can climb on..she does. Bobbi gave her a little green chair and we have that in the living room. She's constantly up and down on it. So I would say that is her favorite toy.

Favorite word: Bompa (Grandpa) Dad will call Kaylor every once in a while and she knows when the phone is for her that it is "Bompa" So anytime she sees me or Jake on the phone she will try and take it from us repeating "Bompa Bompa Bompa"

She now gives kisses, high five, hugs...

She understands just as much Spanish as she does English. Jake talkes to her 100% in Spanish. Sometimes I will hear him tell her something in Spanish and she will start crying. I ask "What did you say?" Jakes says "I told her she couldn't have it"

It's weird to me to know that Kaylor can understand things that I can't.

It has been an amazing and fun year with her. I keep thinking back to when we had her in the hospital and how tiny she was. I was soooo happy and couldn't stop holding her. Mom kept telling me I needed to put her down because she would get used to me holding her and it would make her spoiled. I said I didn't care. I want to spoil her. Hmmmm little did I know what that would lead to. It's been so fun watching her grow and seeing the new things that she learns and picks up, along with her personality... and how much they change I'm sooooooo thankful to be able to have kids and be a Mom. I truely believe it is the best blessing ever! I just hope that I can be a good Mom for her and teach her everything she needs to know. If I can be half the Mother Mom is to me...Well I will be very happy!

So I started on the posts below but got interupted last night. So if anyone looked at them, that's why they looked all weird.

We made it back St. George after spending 4 days in Mt. pleasant and Moroni.

We got to celibrate Kaylors birthday 5 days early so that everyone could be there. Mom, Aunt Dona, Aunt Jaymi, Lynsey, Scott, Krew, Grandpa Hart, Grandma Hart, and Aunt Alison were all there.

Thanks everyone for coming. I'm so glad you guys did. It made it fun. Kaylor loves the purse Dona got her and plays with it all the time. She also loves Mom's toy. The talking Bear. She wouldn't put it down last night. Thanks so much everyone!!!!

We took family pictures with the Harts. I love Jakes family. They are such neat people. I am so thankful to be a part of such an awesome and fun, caring family. I got very lucky :)

Baby news......

I had my Dr's appointment yesterday. If I don't have him by the 14th they will induce me the 14th so that is exciting. Still don't have a name picked out. Any suggestions?

So I have two things I would like to share that has happend this week. As we all know...your last month of pregnancy most women tend to blow up...well that's me right now.

KIM: "I'm starting to get fat again...like around my thighs, hips, and butt"

JAKE: "I know. I noticed that"

TODAY

KIM: "I look fat huh?"

JAKE: "Yeah, but at least your pregnant"

Here are some pictures of Kaylor from Halloween day. So this is what I meant when I said she was a fairy by day and a pumpkin by night :) A little late getting these up. I've been busy busy busy this week.

It feels like I have lived at the hospital these last few days. I'm doing fetal monitoring twice a week for the little man, and then I have my weekly check ups Which puts me at going to the Dr's three times a week!...This weekend Kalyor got really sick and had a tempature of a 105 so we took her in, turns out she has a nasty ear infection. No fun! So I've spent my week in the Hospital. And on top of all that...we had the Boutique on Saturday. It went good. Guess that's it!

More baby news

So I had my Ultrasound yesterday to see what was going on and why he's not growning. They couldn't tell me much except for that he still isn't growing they aren't exactly sure why so.....I go into the Hospital twice a week for fetal monitoring. By doing fetal monitoring they can keep a close watch on the growth. They are looking to induce me early..under two cercumstances- 1. If I lose anymore amiotic fluid. and 2. If he continues to not grow. My Dr. said that I'm at higher risk right now for a C-section. I asked him If I were to get induced would he be ok. He said he should be just fine. He's very healthy, strong heart, lungs and everything else...just he's not growing for some reason. So that was very comforting to know that if he comes early he should be fine. Anyways, there is the news for that :) I'm happy with that because it could be a lot worse. How did Mom have TEN healthy babies????

Halloween 2009

We started out the day by sleepng in. It was nice. We went shopping for the fun Halloween things that we needed, like food and candy. We took Kaylor to Kid to Kid to get her pictures taken. They were doing Halloween pictures. She was a fairy by day and a pumpkin by night :) Then we ate at my favorite place. "In' N' out burger" came home, made the fun Halloween food and passed out candy for a bit and then headed to the Halloween party. Today was a fun day :) So fun that Kaylor didn't even have time to take her daily nap...which made her very onery by night time. My pumpkin made out of carrotts, brocolli, cumcumbers, and strawberries.
Mom's famous cream cheese ruffle chip dip. mmmmmmm yummy. Jake did this. He sculped the brains and everything. It looks so grose but it tasted amazing! I just did food coloring.

Baby news (34 weeks)

Two weeks ago when I was 32 weeks pregnant I had my regular Dr's appointment. Every appointment that I've ever had, I've measured right on. At my 32 week check up I was measuring 28 weeks. My Dr said give it another two weeks and if you haven't grown we need to find out why. So yesterday was my 34 weeks check up and I was still measuring 28 weeks. I have an ultrasound on Monday to see what is going on. He's a really active baby. He moves ten times as much as Kaylor did. So hopefully everything is ok. If anyone knows anyone or anything about this will you let me know. I've been worried about it constantly.

She has one right inside of her eyelid. Three inside her ear right by each other, she's constantly digging her finger in her ear to try and itch it. And she has some inside of her hands, like on the palms, she has them on her lips, bum, potty, toes, even on the inside and heels of her feet. ALL OVER her head. I think that's where they are the worst. And several on her eyelids.

Brian and I threw a surprise birthday party for Jake. It was really really fun. Everyone had a good time. It was nice to just visit and hang out with everyone. We had pizza, Ice cream, and then went swimming. Travis and Haley and their kids came, Michelle (Brian's girlfriend) and Zed came.

I had the house decorated when Jake came home from work then we went to the pool. Got ready for our date and went to dinner at Cafe Rio and then came home to a surpised birthday party!!!

Jake was taking the cake into the kitchen and it slid off and fell right on Travis. It was HILARIOUS!!!! Everyone got a good laugh. I tried to hold still long enough to take a picture but it was difficult beacause I was laughing.

Finally someone who to hold Kaylor all the time! BRIAN! I love having him around. He is so good with her. These are just a few pictures I wanted to put up. Jake and I LOVE St. George. More than we thought we would. We just got into a house. It's a three bedroom, two bath and a two car garage. We're excited! Jake starts school at D!x! in Aug. He can continue with his Biology major there...so that worked out good. That's about it!

Last night Jake and I went to Olive Garden to get some soup because it sounded really good to us. As we were sitting there eating, I noticed a couple sitting diagnal from us and they kept staring and smiling at Kaylor. Every time I would look over at them, they had the biggest smile on their face and watching Kaylor. (They were probably in their 30's) Anyways, as they were leaving they said "you have such a beautiful baby"

Time goes by.....We are finishing up our dinner...we asked the waitress for the ticket and she said "actually the couple over there that left took care of your dinner, they paid for it"

We were shocked....Jake felt really stupid...he said "Do we really look that poor?"

Haha but I told him it's not cause we look poor it's probably because they are just really good people and they liked Kaylor.

I told Jake since they paid for our dinner we can't break the "good deed chain" we have to make it continue and do something nice for someone else...so we tipped $10.00 to the waitress. (all we got was soup..so it was only a 10.00 meal)

Anyways, it's good to know there are still good people out there in the world that have good hearts...and it's not neccicarilly just because they baught our dinner...but because they just simply have a good heart. I would love to do things like that for people when we get rich :)

It meant a lot to us and I'll never forget it :) It reminds me of that country song "don't let the chain of love end with you" where you do something nice for someone because somone did something nice for you.

It's binki gear for Kaylor...We are trying to get her to take a binki and she just kept spitting it out, so we taped it to her and not too long later she started sucking.

I bought this skirt for Kaylor the day we found out we were having a girl. I finally get to put it on her :)

When Jake was a baby and toddler he used to suck on his two fingers...hmmm looks like Kaylor picked up the same habbit from her Dad. She's always sucking on her two fingers.

And now she is officially taking the bottle. Unfortunately it has to be formula. She likes to hold it herself and actually does a really good job and doing it.

Bri and Kaylor. They both love each other. haha It's so funny cause Kaylor could be crying and then bri will come and she totally shuts up and just stares at Bri. She likes little kids.

Kaylor LOVES Jake. Everytime he comes home from work she'll laugh up a storm. When he walks across the room she will not take her eyes off of him. She'll turn her head as far as it can possibly go just so she can keep looking at him........she doesn't do that with me.

So...Kaylor LOVES baths. She has a LEAST three baths a day....So I got to the point where I've just been putting her bath in the middle of the living room so that I can get stuff done and so I don't have to stay in the bathroom with her. She will stay in the bath for about two hours....and I'm not even kidding. So I have to keep putting hott water in it so it won't get cold. haha She's so spoiled! But she's so much fun. And She has finally gotten over her collic. She's acually a really good baby now:)

Kaylor can eat baby food now. YAY! Kaylor sucking her thumb...that's all she does!

Jake and I are moving to Amarillo Texas for the summer to sell security systems. He's been talking to one his good friends. A companion he had from his mission who has been selling alarms for four years in a row now. If you are good you make enough to support you through the whole year so you don't have to work...you can just focus on school. So that is what we are hoping for. I think it will be a neat experience for us. I would love to live somewhere like that for a short period of time. We will be leaving the last week of April and we will be back the last week of August...which puts Kaylor at 9 months old by the time we get back :( wow!

Sleepy slash bath time

This morning Kaylor has been crying and acting like she's uncomfortable/achey I'm guessing and a bath always makes her feel better so I set her on the washer like I always do to get her undressed and I walked over to the bath to fill it up and as soon as the water came on she stopped crying so I looked over and she was out cold! With in a matter of five seconds she went from crying to totally out and asleep. I thought it was pretty cute so I took a picture. All of you guys with kids have probably experienced stuff like this all the time, so it is no big deal to you guys...haha but it's new to me and I think it is so cute. She's so much fun and words can't even express how much I love her :)

Kaylor has only been getting worse and worse as far as her sickness. When I woke up this morning to feed her, as she was nursing she had to keep latching off cause she couldn't breathe through her nose. She is way congested. So finally we took her into the Doctors today and after he checked her out he said "She has a nasty case of RSV. She has a sore throat and is probably very achey and there is a very high chance it can lead to an ear infection" It broke my heart. So I've been giving her Tylonal. So when Jake got off work tonight we asked our neihbor and good friend of ours.."Charlie" if he could help give her a blessing. It was a really good blessing because she had been crying the whole time and as soon as they started the blessing she totally went silent and was happy for about 5 minutes and then went out! So we put her to bed and she has been sleeping peacefully ever since. (I snatched a picture of her) You could definately feel the spirit there. Wow the power of the priestood is amazing and I am forever thankful and blessed to have it in my home. I love my husband :)
Please pray for her. She is really sick. I know I am probably over worried but it still scares me cause she is only 2 1/2 months and you never know what it could lead to.

It was Alson's birthday yesterday so we went out to dinner. I don't even know the name of where we went. I can't remember. Haha. It was fun to get to see them and hang out. I'm so congested though it sucked cause I can't taste anything! I guess that could be good though. It keeps me from eating so much :)

Kaylor has been very very sick. To the point where she is consantly coughng, crying and sneezing. She won't even take her usual naps. It sucks!!!! She has even lost her voice...and to top it all off she is teething as well...and the weirdest teething at that..It is her top teeth that are trying to come down. She is only 2 1/2 months old. Isn't that crazy???

I think she is going through a different look again. I used to think she looked like Jake but I think she is starting to look more and more like me. It is so weird how their looks change so often.

And as you can see...the Tylonal has kicked in. She's one happy baby again

Calmed!

Mom Dona, and Scott came over yesterday and we all went to lunch...Bobbi, and her kids, Taylor and Tanya, and me and Jake. It was time to give Kaylor another dose of Tylonal right before we left...as you can see the Tylonal has worn off :( Mom was trying to calm her. In the picture above you can very well see that Mom calmed her :)

A bath always seems to calm her down and I usually get a few smiles from her out of it. Although it is the loudest and hard cry ever when it comes time to get out.

Today was an awesome day! Kaylor was so dang good it was amazing. She has never been this good. Mom must have been my good luck because I was on the phone with Mom this morning and I was telling her how fussy Kaylor has been lately...But shockingly Kaylor was being good while I was talking to her. Mom said...well you must be lying cause I don't hear a fussy baby...and it hit me....oh wow she is being good huh? That's weird. So once I got off the phone I put Kaylor in her swing and turned on some waterfall tunes to calm her and relax her. She was soooo good and wide awake not making a sound except for a couple laughs and sneezes here and there. She did so good today I got TONS of stuff done. I cleaned our bedroom, her bedroom, the kitchen, livingroom, and got four loads of laundry done. Anyone with a baby must know that is pretty amazing :) so hopefully today wasn't just a "good day" lets hope she keeps being good. Mom was my good luck charm. Mom you'll have to call me every morning.Oh yeah, and four bracelets made AND packaged!

I'm making my blog into a journal

I decided to do what Vicki is doing and make my blog into a journal at the end of the year. I figured it would be a good start with Kaylor and all. So that means I will be posting a lot more posts...mostly for myself. So I apologize if I start getting blog crazy and writing someting everyday. Like I said It's more for a journal for myself.

Today Kaylor had her two month Doctors appointment. She had to get three shots. Two in one leg and one in the other. plus an oral vacine. It was the saddest thing I've ever seen. I never want to wittness that again... She just kept staring right into my eyes as she was screaming her head off. Her eyes got really glossy, I couldn't wait for it to be over so I could just hold her and calm her down. It brought tears to my own eyes :(

Lately she has been such a winey butt. This last week has been really hard. I don't know if she is growing a lot or what...maybe it is a stage, but she cries almost constanly when she is awake. My favorite moments are when she is asleep cause I know as soon as she wakes up its going to be straight crying. I'm starting to think she has collic....Yikes!
Hopefully it is just a stage though. At night time she does awesome. She even sleeps through the entire night without waking up (most the time)

Today we went and got Kalyor's pictures taken. The reason they look so weird is because I tried over and over to upload the origonals but they were too big so it wouldn't let me...so being my smart self...I thought of a way to get them on :) I took a picture of them with my cell phone and sent it to my e mail..which I then saved them on to my computer and uploaded them that way...How complicated huh? But it worked so that's all that matters...But that is why the pictures look so weird and not very profesional.. They are much cuter in real life. She finally fits
into the 0-3 months jeans that Vicki
bought for her. They are sooo cute on her.
She is growing growing growing!!! :(
I think she is starting to look more and more like Jake. Especially his baby pictures.

Today we went out to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Hart.
We went to chuck-a-rama. It was a lot of fun. Kaylor is getting so big. She's starting to smile more and is definately packing on the pounds.
I can't believe that no matter how much she crys or wakes me up during the night
when I'm so tired....It still doesn't bother me and I have not gotten annoyed of it yet! I'm used to the nephews and neices...When they would start crying I would get frustrated or annoyed and just hand them off to their parents. With Kaylor It's like there's nothing she can do to make me annoyed or frustrated. I LOVE being a mom. I can't explain how happy she makes me. It's just me and her all day every day. We take our naps together and everything :)
What can I say??? I LOVE HER TO DEATH!!!!!!

So the day has never been so long in my life! And it's only 10:00...I guess that's what happens when you have nothing to do but kill time. I just discovered my first stretch mark yesterday. It is dark purple running right across my belly button piercing.. Which explains why I got the stretch mark. Nasty huh? So don't ever pierce your belly button.
It literally looks like it is going to rip apart...haha....I think I am starting to figure all this blog stuff out. There is still some things I don't get, but for the most part I think I'm good.
